IN THE BEGINNING ...

We met 6 years ago at a Hotel in Deloraine (Tasmania) where I worked as a bar attender. Reece offered to pay me $50 if I agreed to let him take me out on a date. I can’t say there was one moment when I knew Reece was the one, but many.

LEADING UP TO THE BIG DAY ...

I guess the most unexpected thing to happen to Reece and I leading up to our wedding was finding out that our videographer caught covid 3 days before our wedding. Fortunately we found another in time. My tip for new brides have a wedding planner.

ON THE DAY ...

Mount Gnomon Farm, Penguin, Tasmania. Plenty of wine to stay stress free! My wedding band was my great grandmother’s wedding ring. It is 100 years old and marks 58 years of marriage for my great grandparents. I hope that we are equally as lucky.

ON RELECTION ...

Enjoy every moment and try not to compare your wedding to anyone else’s. Things happen for a reason and end up making the day that bit more special. Your day will be very memorable. Try not to put so much pressure on yourself your day will be perfect.

LOOKING FORWARD ...

I love figuring out the roller coaster of life with Reece and couldn’t think of anyone else I would want to do that with. He never ceases to amaze me and constantly makes me laugh. We hope to have a family and build a beautiful house on a farm.
