IN THE BEGINNING ...

We met on tinder! Swiped right and hit the jackpot. We gelled right away and I knew he was the one when he embraced my daughter with opens arms and an open heart.

LEADING UP TO THE BIG DAY ...

Everything went according to plan somehow! My biggest tip is to just take a breather and relax, don’t sweat the stuff you can’t control.

ON THE DAY ...

We got married at the rotary chapel in the Broadwater, we had jobs assigned to some friends / family to ensure we didn’t have to do any logistical stuff on the day. We had our daughter read out a poem at the ceremony which made it really beautiful.

ON REFLECTION ...

Probably to factor in some time to just chill for a little while after the ceremony, it’s so emotionally charged and a blur. I think it would’ve been nice to have an hour to just enjoy each other’s company and take a breather.

LOOKING FORWARD ...

Excited to buy a home and just do life together with the kids. Marriage to me is finding your equal partner in life and choosing them everyday.
