IN THE BEGINNING ...

Luke and I met over 11 years ago, working at a pub. The "aha!" moment for me came only a few days after we had started seeing each other, when he appeared in the doorway of the girls locker room and kissed me straight away. 

LEADING UP TO THE BIG DAY ...

We had to postpone a year due to COVID and lost our original venue, but ended up with somewhere new that was absolutely perfect. I absolutely fell in love with the Wild Woods theme and had it stuck in my mind for at least two years.

ON THE DAY ...

We got married at an urban winery, with 90 of our nearest and dearest. Our venue took care of everything, with beautiful wine and amazing food. The ceremony was a hot mess and perfect - we arrived 10 minutes late and forgot to exchange rings.

ON REFLECTION ...

The day goes incredibly fast! Make sure to sneak away just the two of you, even for 5 minutes, for a breather. Don't be surprised if you only manage to get through 1.5 glasses of champagne during the reception! And don't shy away from the attention!!

LOOKING FORWARD ...

To our future adventures together, a happy marriage, and a house full of dried florals.
