IN THE BEGINNING ...

We met when we were 10 at school, we weren't really friends until year 9, when I randomly asked him if he'd like a hug and he said yes. We kinda dated but I was super unsure about him, but he was certain he was going to marry me!!

LEADING UP TO THE BIG DAY ...

Things were a bit difficult thanks to covid, but it ended up being a wonderful day and the rain held off for us which was perfect!! I loved my dress and my flowers were absolutely stunning! One tip enjoy every moment of it!!!

ON THE DAY ...

Our wedding was on a beautiful property called Swallowfields, we got married under the oak tree. It was without a doubt the best day of my life and it was super dreamy and romantic, and we celebrated with the best people ever!!

ON REFLECTION ...

We did a DIY wedding and as much as I loved our wedding, it was very stressful to do everything ourselves.  If I could do it again, I would find a venue that helped set up and pack up.

LOOKING FORWARD ...

Marriage means life to us and even when it gets hard we still choose each other, loving some one is a choice and we say yes to making that choice everyday!
