IN THE BEGINNING ...

We met in 2012 at a 40th birthday party - neither of us had met before and spent hours chatting. Matt is my opposite in every way possible.  I knew he was the one when he cared for me - we now have the same fracture in the same leg with the same scar!

LEADING UP TO THE BIG DAY ...

Our wedding day was rescheduled twice with a new location due to Covid. I found my dress quickly as it was the second one i put on and loved it instantly. Flowers were the same as soon as i seen the dried bouquets i knew i definitely wanted them.

ON THE DAY ...

We were married on the East Coast of Tasmania.  I made sure I had everything organised the day before and followed the rule of just relax and enjoy the day. The stand out moment was when my 90 year old grandfather was our witness for us.

ON REFLECTION ...

Tip for outside weddings - put your hair up just in case of wind. Enjoy the day, it flies by so quickly that there's no point getting caught up in minor details.  Enjoy the celebration with your family and friends and remember to take 10 minutes with your partner to reflect.

LOOKING FORWARD ...

Marriage is a sacred thing to both of us we are in it for the long haul, hopefully in the future we will keep ticking our goals together as a couple and as a family. Each anniversary we are hoping to return to where we were married for a weeks holiday.
